Nadine Clopton
A heart-centered paradigm shifter…
Nadine is committed to co-creating a world that places compassion, communities, and ecosystems at the root of positive change.
As a thought leader, her work weaves together mindfulness, storytelling for systemic change, intergenerational partnership, ecofeminism, regeneration, embodiment, & conscious communication.
She is the Founder of Conscious Consulting, LLC, a boutique consulting organization rooting individual & organizational change in self-inquiry, purpose, & alignment.
She is a frequent workshop host, guest lecturer, & panelist around the globe— sparking dynamic discussions & mindful reflection.
Nadine is a Program Manager at the Rodale Institute where her work centers around the regenerative health of both people & ecosystems.
In her work at Rodale Institute, she is organizing the inaugural Regenerative Healthcare Conference; connecting healthcare professionals with farmers and food as medicine. With a specific focus on soil & water health as it correlates to human health, she is currently managing & scaling up Rodale Institute’s Grow Clean Water campaign and programming around Regenerative Healthcare.
She currently serves as Vice President of the Global NGO Executive Committee (GNEC). GNEC is a storied nonprofit that has, for 60 years, partnered with the United Nations to guarantee a voice at the decision-making table for civil society leaders, serving over 1,500 UN-vetted non-governmental organizations. She became a Director on the Global NGO Executive Committee at just 21 years old, the first young person to serve in this capacity. She is the host of GNEC’s new podcast series, ON THE GROUND.
Nadine has served as a volunteer NGO Youth Representative to the United Nations for the Australia-based NGO, Caring & Living As Neighbours (CLAN) for the past 6 years. Additionally, she is a Director on the board of Indigenous NCDs, an Associate with the International Institute for Child Rights and Development, and is a co-author of both the Global Youth Climate Action Declaration and the Phoenix Manifesto.
She holds a Masters in Environmental Policy Design from Lehigh University. During her undergraduate studies at Lehigh, she completed a double major in Political Science and Health, Medicine, & Society accompanied by minors in both Sustainable Development & Environmental Studies. She graduated summa cum laude, receiving the university’s prestigious Presidential Scholarship.
Outside of her many passion projects, Nadine is a classically trained opera singer & loves to find ways to communicate about systemic change through the arts. She’s currently advising "Emergence of Heart", a film project using a "feel to heal" approach to the climate crisis while weaving together critical reflections on eco-anxiety, identity, whiteness, gender, & responsibility.
Nadine lives each day with deep reverence for our Mother Earth. She spent the pandemic with her hands in the soil; apprenticing with an herbalist, learning from nature, and diving deep into a reflective purpose-discovery process through the Purpose Guides Institute, inspiring much of her career journey since then.
She lives on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Lenni Lenape people in southeastern Pennsylvania.
So why now?
Our world is standing at a crossroads. This is perhaps the most pivotal moment in human history.
Our systems— social, economic, & ecosystems— are coming to a critical breaking point.
It all began with a question:
How can I be of service?
That is the question our founder, Nadine, brought with her to the top of a mountain in Vermont for her first Vision Quest, inspired by the traditional rites of passage of Indigenous peoples from time immemorial & at the conclusion of a six-month Purpose Discovery process through the Purpose Guides Institute.
Bringing only water, a journal, & a book of matches, she sat in sacred ceremony for over 24 hours, connecting deeply with the forest & with herself.
From that experience Conscious Consulting, LLC was born.
The same social & environmental pressures we are facing as individuals are facing us as a collective— including our businesses & organizations.
So how can we be part of a paradigm shift?
How can businesses, organizations, & individuals rise to the occasion of living in alignment with our purpose & values? How can we integrate care & compassion into our core ethos?
That is what we are here to support you with.
